- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. solid shortening
- 1 whole egg
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and baking powder.

2Cut in shortening until mixture is corn meal texture.

3In a measuring cup, beat together vinegar and egg, then fill to one cup level with cold tap water. Mix together flour and vinegar mixture.

4Dough will be soft and sticky.

5Working on well floured board, roll out a piece of the dough to approximately 1/8-inch thick and 2 to 3-inches wider than pie pan.

6Put in lightly floured pie pans.

7Roll out equal sized circles for top crusts.
