- 6 Tbsp. shortening (increase to 8 Tbsp. if using low-fat milk)
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- salt
- cinnamon and sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. blueberries
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add egg and beat.

3Add milk, then flour, baking powder and salt alternately.

4Add 1/2 cup or more of blueberries to the batter and 1/2 cup on top.

5Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

6Bake in 8 x 11-inch pan for about 25 minutes or until done.
