  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. unsifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. blueberries, coated with flour (shake off excess)
  • 2 tsp. sugar (for top)

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time and mix well until blended.

    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and vanilla.

    Add blueberries and fold in by hand.

    Using cupcake liners, pile mix 3/4 full into each muffin cup.

    Sprinkle sugar over top.

    Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
