- 2/3 c. cocoa
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 1/2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine cocoa, sugar and salt.

2Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring often.

3Cook to 232° or until a small amount forms a soft ball in cold water.

4Remove from heat and drop in butter.

5Cool to lukewarm.

6Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens slightly. Spread on cake.
