Ingredients

  • 1 qt. sweet milk
  • 1 small can Carnation milk
  • 1 pt. half and half
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 level Tbsp. flour
  • 5 or 6 eggs, beaten
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Scald all but 1/2 pint cream (that means, put over heat and stir constantly until you see come up).

    Mix eggs, sugar, flour and salt.

    Pour into milk slowly, stirring constantly.

    Let cook about 15 minutes.

    Let cool and add vanilla.

    Whip the cream and fold into other when it has cooled.

    (This stuff can be drunk or put into ice cream freezer.
  8. 8
    To drink it is better.)
