  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    a double boiler. Heat milk to lukewarm. Beat

    egg yolks well; add sugar and stir. Add some of the

    warm milk to egg mixture and mix well.

    Pour into the milk.

    Stir constantly until

    mixture coats a spoon. Cool. Add vanilla.
