- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. French's au gratin potatoes
- 1 green pepper, chopped
Directions

1Place egg, milk, bread crumbs and salt in a large bowl.

2Stir well.

3Add beef and mix.

4Shape into 16 small meatballs.

5Prepare potatoes by package directions.

6Using a 2-quart casserole, stir in green peppers and about 1/2 of the meatballs.

7Arrange remaining meatballs on top.

8Bake for 35 minutes at 400°.
