- olive oil
- parsley, chopped
- basil, chopped
- garlic, chopped
- sopressata or cooke salami
- Fontina cheese or Provolone cheese
- salt
- pepper
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
Directions

1Butterfly steak.

2Spread parsley and garlic over it.

3Cover it with alternate strips of sopressata and cheese.

4Roll and tie with string.

5Saute in oil, turning to brown all around.

6Pour in tomato sauce, basil, salt and pepper to taste.

7If sauce is too acid, add some sugar.

8Simmer until meat feels tender when pierced with fork.
