- 2 large cucumbers
- 2 c. celery, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3/4 c. water
Directions

1Peel cucumbers, remove seeds and dice.

2Have the celery diced in about the same size pieces.

3Melt margarine in a skillet.

4Add onion, cucumbers, celery and a sprinkling of salt and pepper.

5A teaspoon of dried dill weed adds immeasurably to the flavor of this dish.

6Cook gently, turning so that the vegetables become golden on all sides.

7Add water; cover tightly and simmer until tender, not more than about 10 minutes.
