- 12 cup molasses
- 12 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 23 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons brandy
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Combine the molasses with the melted butter.

3Sift the flour with the sugar and spices and add to the molasses and butter mixture.

4Mix well and stir in the brandy.

5Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

6Remove from oven and gently loosen each cookie, one at a time and roll to form a pencil shape.

7Use a wooden spoon for best results.

8Allow to cool.
