  • 12 Kaiser Rolls (stale)
  • 5 eggs
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 2/3 c flour
  • milk

Directions

    Cube buns. Sprinkle with flour and nutmeg. Beat eggs with a bit of milk. Add to buns. Add milk until slightly soggy. Let stand 45 mins. Form large dumplings squeezing firmly. Drop in boiling salt water (or steam) 20-30 mins. Serve with pork roast
