  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
  • 1 tsp grnd allspice
  • 1 tsp freshly grnd nutmeg
  • 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 4 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. plumped raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 5 c. cubed stale French bread, (5 to 6) Sweet cream

    Preheat oven to 375 F.

    In a large bowl, mix together the first six ingredients.

    In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients, except the sweet cream.

    Add in the lowfat milk mix to the dry mix and stir till well combined.

    Pour the mix into a 2 1/2- to 3-qt casserole dish and bake for 35 to 45 min.

    Remove and let stand for 5 min.

    Serve hot with the sweet cream.
