  • 6 slices bread, toasted
  • butter or oleo (for toast)
  • 1 c. moist raisins
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

    Toast and butter bread.

    Put toast in a 9-inch cake pan. Cover toast with raisins.

    Blend all other ingredients together. Pour over toast and raisins.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife stuck in the center comes out clean.
