- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 3 c. milk
- 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1In a well-greased casserole dish, mix milk and bread crumbs together.

2Soak 5 minutes.

3Stir in margarine, both sugars and salt.

4Beat eggs well and add to mixture.

5Stir in vanilla and raisins.

6Set casserole in a pan of water.

7Bake 1 hour or until done.

8Test with knife in the center.

9When done, drizzle on a powdered sugar glaze or serve plain.
