- 1 (1 lb.) loaf Vienna bread
- 6 egs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 1 c. light cream
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 c. golden brown raisins
Directions

1Cut bread into 1 1/2 inch cubes.

2Let dry overnight.

3Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

4Beat Large eggs till frothy.

5Blend in sugar.

6Gradually beat in lowfat milk, cream and vanilla.

7Combine bread cubes and raisins in large mixing bowl.

8Pour lowfat milk mix over bread mix; mix well.

9Pour into well-buttered 9 x 13 inch pan.

10Bake 65 to 70 min or possibly till knife inserted near ceneter comes out clean.

11SAUCE: Combine all ingredients except vanilla.

12Heat to boiling over medium heat, stir frequently for 1 minute.

13To serve, spoon bread pudding hot or possibly cool into sauce dish.

14Serve with hot caramel sauce.
