Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
  • poppy seed

Directions

    Melt margarine in rectangle baking dish. Combine flour and milk. Stir until dough leaves sides of bowl. Knead several times on floured board. Roll into 3 inch wide rectangle.

    Cut in half lengthwise. Cut crosswise into strips. Place over melted margarine in baking dish. Sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until brown.
