  • 12 ounces breakfast sausage links Johnsonville
  • 6 English muffins cut into 1in. cubes
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 40z.
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup red pepper chopped
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits optional

Directions

    Cook sausage according to package directions. Cool slightly; cut into 1/4in. slices.

    Place English muffin cubes in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish & drizzle with butter.

    Layer with sausage, cheese, onion, & red pepper.

    In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, & pepper. Pour over cheese. Sprinkle with bacon.

    Cover & refrigerate overnight.

    Remove from refigerator 30min. prior to baking. Uncover & bake at 350 degrees for 45-50min. or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.

    Let stand for 5min. before serving
