Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 4 slices bread, cubed
  • 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Brown sausage and crumble.

    Set aside after draining on paper towel.

    Beat eggs.

    Add milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper.

    Layer bread crumbs, sausage and cheese in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.

    Cover with egg mixture and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes until set and lightly browned.

    I serve cranberry sauce with this.
