Ingredients
- 5 slices bread, cubed
- 1/2 lb. or 1 c. sausage
- 1/2 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Brown; drain sausage and set aside to cool.

2In a bowl, mix the eggs, salt, milk, dry mustard and sage; mix well and set aside.

3In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer the cubed bread, sausage and grated cheese.

4Pour the egg mixture over the layers.

5Next, pour the melted margarine over the layers.

6Cool and cover with foil. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.

7Set out for 3 to 4 hours before baking.

8Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour, loosely covered with foil.
