  • 6 slices bread, buttered and cubed
  • 2 c. cooked ham
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. canned evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 small can mushrooms

Directions

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Layer bread cubes, meat and cheese.

    Mix beaten egg, milk, salt and dry mustard.

    Pour over ingredients in casserole.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    In morning, add mushrooms,

    cover and bake at 350°

    for 45 minutes. Uncover for last 10 minutes to let top brown.
