Breakfast Egg Bake

- 12 slices bread
- 12 slices American cheese or Cooper sharp
- 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled or 1 lb. breakfast sausage, crumbled or chopped ham, broccoli, peppers or onions (use your imagination!)
- 12 eggs
- 5 c. whole milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Butter both sides of bread and place 6 slices into greased 9 x 13-inch glass pan.

3Place 6 slices of the cheese on top and half of the meat mixture.

4Repeat with remaining bread, cheese and meat.

5Now take the 12 eggs and whip them.

6Add to mixture 5 cups of whole milk.

7Beat well; pour over bread and let stand in refrigerator overnight.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until eggs are solid.
