  • 1 large box quick oats (2 lb. 10 oz.)
  • 2 c. shredded coconut
  • 2 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. raw cashews or almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. honey
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together the first 6 ingredients.

    Whiz together in blender the next 5 ingredients.

    Add to dry mixture, stirring thoroughly.

    Bake at 250°, stirring every 20 minutes for about 1 hour or until brown.

    Yields 24 cups.
