- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 thin slices French bread, cubed
- 1 c. cubed ham
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 16 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

2Cover bottom of pan with cubed bread.

3Layer with half the ham and half the cheese; repeat layers.

4Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together in bowl. Pour over layers.

5Sprinkle with paprika.

6Cover with foil. Chill overnight.

7Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 hour.

8Remove foil. Bake for 30 minutes longer.

9Yield: 10 servings.
