- 7 ounces flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 ounces oil
- 7 ounces milk
Directions

1Sift flour with salt and baking powder into a mixing bowl.

2Add sugar and mix.

3Beat egg lightly.

4Add oil and milk to egg.

5Stir the egg mixture into the flour, mixing just enough to moisten the flour and get a lumpy mixture.

6DO NOT OVER MIX.

7Fill muffin tins prepared with liners or greased.

8Bake in a 400F oven for 20-25 minutes, til well risen and golden on top.

9Serve with butter and jam.
