Ingredients

  • 2 loaves white bread (frozen)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 large pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • pecans or walnuts

Directions

    Thaw loaves at room temperature for 3 1/2 hours (do not let rise).

    Break or cut off into chunks the size of ping-pong balls and put into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix and pour rest of ingredients over bread dough, cover loosely with foil. Refrigerate overnight.

    Take out of refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes before baking.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Let stand a few minutes, then turn out onto waxed paper.
