Ingredients
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. warm milk
- 3 eggs, at room temperature
- 1 c. Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 1 egg yolk plus 2 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water in large warm bowl.

2Add sugar, salt, warm milk, butter, 3 eggs and 1 cup flour.

3Beat until smooth.

4Stir in enough more flour to make a soft dough.

5On floured board, knead 8 to 10 minutes.

6Place in greased bowl; turn to grease top.

7Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled, about 1 hour.

8Punch dough down; cover bowl tightly. Refrigerate 5 hours.
