Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 1/3 c. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. pineapple juice
  • 3/4 c. wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 (4 to 6 lb.) brisket

    Combine all ingredients.

    Place meat in heavy plastic bag and pour marinade over it.

    Squeeze out air and fasten bag.

    Marinade overnight or several hours.

    Drain meat and place in roaster. Pour marinade over meat.

    Cook 2 to 3 hours at 325°.

    Baste often. Thicken marinade with cornstarch and use as gravy.
