1 box golden raisins
1 lb. nuts
1/2 lb. citron
1/2 lb. candied orange peel
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
4 c. flour
1 lb. butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
9 eggs
3/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. mace
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk

Chop nuts and fruit and dredge in half the flour.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Sift remainder of the flour with other dry ingredients.

Add milk and dry ingredients alternately to cake batter.

Add nuts and fruits and mix thoroughly.

Cook in oven at 275° for approximately 4 hours.
