Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked according to directions and drained well
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Mix ingredients together in mixing bowl.

    Pour into buttered casserole.

    Can be made the day before and refrigerated.

    Before baking, sprinkle about 1/2 package Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing mix on top.

    Cover well with stuffing mix but do not stack it.

    Bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 350°.
