- 2 lb. broccoli
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 2/3 c. olive or salad oil
Directions

1Cut broccoli into 3-inch lengths.

2Split 1/2 inch up from the stem ends.

3Cook in a covered saucepan in an inch of boiling water until tender, 8 to 10 minutes after the water starts to boil.

4Do not overcook.

5Remove gently from the water; drain and chill.
