Ingredients
- 1 large bunch broccoli
- 1 medium head cauliflower
- 4 to 6 stalks celery
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 or 2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans sliced olives
- 1 or 2 cans sliced mushrooms
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 (approximately 10 oz.) bottle Italian dressing
- 3 pkg. Italian dressing mix
- 3 to 4 green onions
Directions

1Wash, trim and thinly slice the broccoli, cauliflower, celery and pepper crosswise.

2Dice red onion and green onions small; drain olives, mushrooms and water chestnuts.

3Cut mushrooms smaller; quarter the water chestnuts.

4Mix vegetables in large bowl with lid that seals tight.

5Mix Italian dressing and 3 packages dressing mix together well; pour over vegetables.

6Mix well.

7Cover salad tightly.

8Let marinate for at least 12 hours, turning occasionally.
