- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 5 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli, drained and chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 to 3 c. milk
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, melt margarine.

2Add onion; cook until tender.

3Stir in salt, pepper and flour.

4Stir until smooth; cook 1 minute.

5Gradually add milk and chicken soup.

6Cook and stir until mixture thickens; add broccoli and mushrooms.

7Cook until broccoli is done.

8Serves 6.

9Also good with cauliflower instead of broccoli.
