Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 4 tablespoons oleo or 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onion
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 slices bacon or 4 -5 slices Canadian bacon
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Cook broccoli and chop and set aside.

    Cook bacon and crumble into pieces and set aside.

    If using Canadian Bacon cube into small pieces.
  4. 4
    Cube cheese and set aside.

    In a saucepan large enough to hold soup add oleo or butter melt and add flour and saute; do not brown.

    Add milk and cubed cheese and let cheese melt and then add broccoli; do not boil or will separate.

    Lastly add meat and salt and serve.
