- 1 bunch broccoli
- 2 cloves garlic, cut in half
- 2 slices peeled fresh ginger root
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Rinse broccoli in cool water.

2Cut florets off; reserve.

3Peel tough outer layer from stems; grate stems and place in a 2-quart casserole.

4Add garlic, ginger and oil.

5Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.

6Microwave on High 4 minutes.

7Add florets; re-cover and microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove garlic and ginger; sprinkle with salt.
