Broccoli With Rice

  • 1 c. brown rice, cooked
  • 1 bunch fresh or frozen broccoli spears
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. soy mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. McKay's chicken seasoning*
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds

Directions

    Cool rice; spread in flat casserole dish.

    Parboil broccoli; arrange on top of rice.

    Combine mushrooms, mayonnaise and seasonings.

    (For thinner sauce, add 1 cup milk.)

    Top rice with sauce mixture.

    Sprinkle almonds on top.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until bubbly.

    Serve immediately.
