Broiled Basil Swordfish

  • 8 swordfish steaks
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

    Combine butter, basil, pepper sauce and lemon juice in a small bowl. Chill in refrigerator one hour or longer. Turn on broiler. Season fish with salt and pepper to taste. Broil about 5 minutes per side or until fish is opaque throughout. Top with a spoonful of basil butter mixture from fridge.
