  • white fish (enough for each person)
  • 2 garlic cloves, cut in half
  • 1/2 onion, cut in small rings
  • 1/2 tub butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Melt butter over medium heat and season with the garlic cloves.

    Place onion rings in bottom of pan.

    Season both sides of fish with garlic salt, onion salt, paprika and pepper.

    Place fish into pan on top of onion; pour butter over fish and onion.

    (Cover approximately 1/2 fish fillets with butter).

    Baste with butter. Broil 15 to 18 minutes.

    After about 5 minutes of cooking, baste approximately every 2 to 3 minutes.

    Check fish by using fork and see if fish flakes apart easily.

    If desired, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over fillets.

    Bake fish on rack in middle of oven.
