  • 4 c. water
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. chicken soup base (from Gordens) or your own broth
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 can water chestnuts and liquid from them
  • little instant ginseng tea (Korean, optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder

Directions

    Bring water to a boil.

    Add all ingredients; simmer for 5 or 10 minutes.

    Drink 1 cup 4 times a day.
