- 3/4 stick corn oil oleo
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. long grain rice (not instant rice)
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water or 1 can beef bouillon
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
Directions

1Melt oleo in Corning Ware casserole.

2Add onions, stir until cooked but not brown (use low heat).

3Add rice and continue cooking and stirring until rice turns white.

4Add consomme and bouillon, stir well.

5Cover casserole.

6Bake 30 minutes at 300° to 325°.
