  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • nonfat milk (optional)
  • brown sugar (optional)

    Add in rice and salt; lower heat to medium-low and cook, covered, about 40 minutes or until tender.
