- 3/4 c. raw regular rice
- 3 Tbsp. fat or salad oil
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Wash rice.

2Pat dry with paper towels.

3Heat fat or salad oil in a deep heavy 2-quart saucepan.

4Add rice; stir over low heat until each rice kernel is golden brown.

5Add boiling water slowly. Add salt.

6Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.

7Do not stir.
