- 3 acorn squash
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 6 tablespoons maple syrup
- 12 brown and serve sausages or 12 sausage patties
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.

3Place cut-side down on a cookie sheet.

4Bake 30 minutes.

5Remove from oven; turn squash over.

6Salt and pepper.

7Place 1 tablespoon syrup and two sausage links/patties in each half.

8Return to oven for 10-12 minutes or until sausage is browned.
