Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage (may substitute ham for the sausage)
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 6 slices bread, crust removed and cubed
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms

Directions

    Brown sausage and drain.

    Put bread cubes in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle sausage and cheese over bread cubes.

    Mix eggs, onion, mustard and milk.

    Pour over sausage, bread and cheese.

    Put mushrooms on top.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake in a 325° oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
