  • 10 to 12 slices white bread, cut off crust, butter and cube
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb. bacon, ham, sausage, crab or chicken, cooked and drained
  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Put bread in bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 dish.

    Sprinkle cheese and meat on top.

    Beat eggs, salt and milk together and pour over all.

    Make sure all bread is covered with the egg mixture.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350°.
