- 10 to 12 slices white bread, cut off crust, butter and cube
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 lb. bacon, ham, sausage, crab or chicken, cooked and drained
- 1 doz. eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Put bread in bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 dish.

2Sprinkle cheese and meat on top.

3Beat eggs, salt and milk together and pour over all.

4Make sure all bread is covered with the egg mixture.

5Refrigerate overnight.

6Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350°.
