Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 lb. beef, cut into 1 inch square
  • 2 medium onions, peeled and chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 2 cans (10 oz.) beef consomme
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 pack (10 oz.) frozen peas

Directions

    Melt butter in a Dutch oven and brown the beef.

    Add onions and saute until onion are golden brown.

    Add the celery salt, parsley, 1 can of consomme and one cup of water.

    Simmer for 1 hour.
