Buffet Onion Casserole

  • 4 c. medium onions, sliced
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 10 oz. bag potato chips
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. milk

    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan or equal baker.

    Layer 1/2 the onions, 1/2 the chips and 1/2 the cheese.

    Whip up 1 can soup and pour over.

    Repeat layers up to soup. Mix the 2nd can of soup with the 1/2 cup milk and pour over.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
