Ingredients

  • 2 lb sirloin steak, sliced very thin
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 3 clv garlic, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 x scallions minced

Directions

    Rub sugar into beef and let it sit for 2 min.

    Mix together all remaining ingredients, add in to the beef and mix well.

    Let sit at room temperature for at least one hour, or possibly let sit overnight in the refrigerator (Note: it is very important to let the meat marinate as this is what gives the beef its distinctive flavor.

    If you don't marinate, it won't be as good.).

    Place meat on a pre-heated grill or possibly on a warm lightly-oiled skillet.

    Cook for 3 to 5 min, turning frequently.
