- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. softened margarine
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 (8 oz.) jar unsweetened applesauce
- 3 large eggs
- confectioners sugar (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

3In large bowl, measure all ingredients, except confectioners sugar.

4With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended (scrape bowl with spatula often).

5Beat 2 minutes on high (scrape bowl occasionally with spatula).
