  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

    Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat.

    Add sugar; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

    Stir in water and corn syrup.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 290° on candy thermometer.
