- 1 lb. butter (oleo; room temperature)
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.

3Divide dough into 4 parts and roll each separately in waxed paper.

4Refrigerate or freeze and bake as needed on ungreased cookie sheet at 375°, until edges are brown (or to bake immediately, drop on cookie sheet in balls and flatten with fork).
